Big Sur, CA
I’ve driven along Big Sur almost once a year since 2014 and never get tired of the glaring deep-blue breakers against the succulent greenery.
This time I went with a group of friends to visit a member of the group who recently transplanted to Monterey. We decided we’re all too old to care about anything other than comfort and practicality and so opted for a minivan roadtrip, a chaotic collaborative Spotify playlist, and an instance that everyone share a controversial opinion for the group to debate.
The Pacific Coast Highway was the wondrous achievement of modern roads that made driving from Mexico to Canada possible in the 1930s.
